We survived the dog days of summer and “Dug Deep” to see what we could accomplish to kick off the Fall. The end of each challenge gives me a chance to reflect and really appreciate what an incredible group of women I get to interact with through this group. This challenge in particular has brought to light the warm hearts and sincere support you offer each other as we strive to improve ourselves through health, fitness and motherhood. I want you each to know how special you are to me, and how honored I am that you allow me to be a part of your lives!




Fall 2014 Dig Deep Challenge

This challenge started a little earlier than usual so I could fit everything in before baby Boo makes his/her arrival. You ladies rose to the challenge! From scorching miles to chasing shade for planking, burpees and wall sits, you all proved up for the Fall 2014 Dig Deep Challengetask! Two teams of women supported and encouraged each other to eat more greens (but maybe not the mint from your cocktails), practice your planks, run farther and faster and burpee your hearts out!! As a group we improved our burpees by 30%!!! It was a close race to see whether Team Turquoise or Team Red could eat more green veggies, provide positive feedback on the logs and burpee the most. By a margin of only 5 points, Team Red burpeed their way into the lead with a team improvement of 42%!!!

A big shout out to Pam who stuck to her goal of no wine during the week, even when tempted by weekly girls nights!! You are a rockstar!! Also a huge thank you for hosting our finale party in your beautiful home!! I couldn’t imagine a more perfect spot! Big thanks to your loving husband Kevin for catching and cooking the salmon – it was delicious!!

Jena won our September flower award for being our most encouraging logger – woot woot!!

Cadey found ways to sneak greens into “everything” even on girls weekend!

Katie got creative in coloring her veggies on her log.

Cara kicked booty in her first post baby 5k, beating her goal time by over a minute!

Runner up, CADEY EASTMAN!!

Cadey, another traveling supermom, had our overall most consistent improvement. She improved her mile by 9.85%, her push ups by 70%, her plank by 98%, her sit ups by 17%, her burpees by 50%, her wall sit by 111% and her sit and reach by 3.6%!!!!IMG_4855
